SISTER ANGELINE WALCZYK, OLVM, age 91, a resident of Heritage Pointe of Warren, died on the morning of Saturday, August 2, 2025.
Sister Angeline entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on September 6, 1951, and made first vows on August 5, 1954. She served in the missions in New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, California, and Indiana. Sister Angeline returned to Victory Noll in February 20, 2014, to volunteer in various ways.
Sister Angeline was born in Brush, Colorado on December 22, 1933, to Paul and Clara (Bartsch) Walczyk. She is preceded in death by five brothers, Sylvester, Anton, Emil, Paul and Lukus Walczyk; and by three sisters, Mary Ann Green, Clara Lowman and Pauline Frenzl. Surviving is one sister, Cecilia Kalous of Woodrow, CO. Also surviving are two brothers, Frank of North Pole, AK, Herman of Longmount, CO, along with her Victory Noll Sisters with whom she shared life and community for 74 years.
The Vigil Service for Sister Angeline will be at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Applegate Chapel at the Heritage Pointe of Warren.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 7, at the Applegate Chapel at Heritage Pointe in Warren, 801 Huntington Avenue, Warren, IN, with Fr. Tony Steinacker presiding.
Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery in Huntington.
