OLVM Sisters restructure program to create Victory Noll Empowerment Grants

The purpose of the Empowerment Grants is to utilize our resources, so as to effectively address the Victory Noll Sisters’ concern for those who live in poverty and are marginalized by society.  We, as Victory Noll Sisters are committed to a corporate public way to promote and sustain the mission of God according to the charism of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters in solidarity with all persons, especially those living in poverty and/or oppression.

​Organizations can continue to apply for a grant under the title of “Victory Noll Empowerment Grants.”

Grant applications for 2024 are now being accepted. See information below.
 

Mission Statement


Victory Noll Empowerment Grants is established to promote and sustain the mission of God according to the charism of  Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters in solidarity with all persons, especially those living in poverty and/or oppression.
 

Grant Application Criteria


The organization applying for a grant must have 501(c)(3), or equivalent, status and be geared toward effecting systemic change.

Characteristics on which to judge programs eligibility for funding:


-promoting justice for those living in poverty and oppression
-empowering persons to contribute to a more just and peaceful society
-protecting and sustaining the environment, God’s creation
-contributing to the well-being of families



Victory Noll Empowerment Grants are not intended to fund such things as:


-scholarships

-building projects
-medical programs
-existing well-funded organizations
-direct service programs
-foreign  organizations


Deadline for application is JULY 1, 2024
