Sr. Rosanne Palmer, OLVM

SISTER ROSANNE PALMER, OLVM, 102, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Saint Anne's Community at Victory Noll, Huntington, IN.

Sister Rosanne was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 9, 1916, to Randall Palmer and Margaret (Powers) Palmer. Both of her parents preceded her in death.

Sister Rosanne is survived by her nieces, nephews and by her Victory Noll Sister’s with whom she shared life and community for 35 years.

Sister Rosanne graduated with a Master of Social Work from St. Louis University in 1952. She worked in the field of Child Social services in several states, including Hawaii and Colorado before entering the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on August 15, 1983. Sister Rosanne made first vows on August 3, 1985 and continued to use her training in social work in Tucson Arizona, before she returned to Victory Noll in 2001.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Edmund and John Palmer.

A Vigil Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne's at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive, Huntington, IN.

Calling hours will be held one hour prior to Mass on Friday, February 23, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne's at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive, Huntington, IN.

Burial will be at the Victory Noll Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
