Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters invite you to retool your discipleship to address the very real issues, challenges, and problems that face our country and world today.
Pope Francis has called missionary congregations like the OLVMs to celebrate an Extraordinary Missionary Month in October 2019. We invite you to learn the common call we all share to be missionary disciples in a world in need of healing.
Fr. Kevin Sandberg, C.S.C., will lead us in an interactive workshop based on Pope Francis’ vision of the Church as a field hospital:
Be Not Afraid: They Were Sent 2x2 into the Field
What’s Your Diagnosis of the Illness?
The Parables of Jesus—Good for What Ails Us!
Fostering Well-being: Who Will Care but You?
Stepping Outside Ourselves to Imitate Jesus, the Divine Physician.
Fr. Kevin Sandberg, C.S.C., is faculty member and Leo and Arlene Hawk Executive Director of the Center for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame. Serving thousands of students each year, the Center for Social Concerns enacts Catholic social teaching through community-engaged research, teaching, and learning for personal transformation, vocational commitment, and social impact.
