Sr. Dolores Tringl, OLVM
SISTER DOLORES TRINGL, OLVM, 91 died on April 5, 2018 at Saint Anne's Community at Victory Noll, Huntington.
Sister Dolores was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 20, 1926 to Martin and Mary Catherine Krieger Tringl. Her parents and her only sister, Marcella Tringl all precede her in death. Surviving Sister Dolores are several cousins and close friends, as well as her Victory Noll Sisters with whom she shared live and community for 69 years.
Sister Dolores entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on October 27, 1949 and made first vows on August 5, 1952. She served in the missions in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Missouri, Indiana, and Arizona. Sister served in the congregation in many ways throughout her life. She was part of the leadership by serving as an area coordinator from 1980-1984 and then in 2001-2003 she served as General Secretary. She ministered in the Diocesan Religious Education Office in the Diocese of Kansas City /St. Joseph, Missouri and then served as the Director of the Office of Religious for the Diocese of Phoenix. She retired in 2012 as a Chaplain at University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, where she had served since 2004.
A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday April 6, 2018, at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne's at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday April 7, 2018, with calling one hour prior to the Mass at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, Saint Anne's at Victory Noll, 25 Victory Noll Drive.
Burial will be at Victory Noll cemetery.
