The month of June is a time of weddings and family gatherings which familial love embraces both nature and spirit.
We picture a mother and father smiling at their new baby, at first no response but then after many weeks they receive the baby's smile in return. The child now awakens to love. Love was initiated by the parents. God tells us "Let light shine out of darkness" has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the Glory of God on the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:6)
No child can be awakened to love without being loved. The seed of love lies dormant within us as the image of God.
Before the individual encounters the love of God there must be a possibility of divine love. This love must be revealed in a spiritual and conscious way.
Our Lady of Victory Missonary Sisters is an American Missionary Congregation founded in 1922 — serving the poor and oppressed in a personal, non-institutional way

That is why we have become part of a network of religious communities collaborating to assist home mission dioceses in their efforts to develop lay leadership and ministry. This is an initiative of the Home Missions Leadership Conference and the Congar Institute for Ministry Development. READ MORE
