Sister Dorothy Louise Wortmann
Sister Dorothy Louise Wortmann, OLVM, age 93, a resident of Victory Noll, died at 6:45 AM, September 6, 2012, at Holy Family Health Care Center at Victory Noll, Huntington.
Sister Dorothy Louise entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on September 9, 1950 and made first vows on August 5, 1953.  She served in the missions in New Jersey, Massachusetts, California, West Virginia, Michigan and at Victory Noll.   She retired in 1994 from the Finance Office and became a pastoral volunteer.
Sister Dorothy Louise was born in Racine, Wisconsin on December 5, 1918 to Louis Wortmann and Louise Shear Wortmann.  One brother, Raymond Wortmann, and two sisters, Bernice Wortmann and Lucille McGrath, preceded her in death. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and her OLVM sisters with whom she shared life and community for 62 years.
A Vigil Service will be held at 7 PM Friday, September 7, 2012, with calling one hour prior to the service at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, 1900 W Park Drive, Huntington.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 8, 2012, with calling one hour prior to the Mass at the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Thomas Fahey will preside.
Burial will be at Victory Noll cemetery.
McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
