Ministry Centers

JULIA CENTER - CHICAGO
The Julia Center is a neighborhood outreach center located in the West Town area of Chicago. The Center offers programs of education and enrichment primarily for women and girls that enable them to build self-confidence and self-esteem, discover and develop their gifts and learn to take control of their lives. Julia Center is directed by Victory Noll Sisters and is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization, funded solely by private grants and donations.

SISTER EVELYN MOUREY CENTER - EL CENTRO, CALIF.
The Sister Evelyn Mourey Center in El Centro, California, is a multi-purpose center established to meet the needs of the poor living in a low-income housing development (La Posada del Sol) and the surrounding areas. It strives to give hope to all who walk through their doors by serving each with love, respect and dignity.

VICTORY NOLL CENTER - HUNTINGTON, IN.
Victory Noll Center is sponsored by Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters to serve the people of God. The Center offers a welcoming place for people of all faiths and cultural and ethnic traditions who desire to enrich their lives and deepen their relationship with God in an atmosphere of peace and beauty. The Center embraces a multicultural and ecumenical stance with special outreach to the Hispanic community.

HOME PLACE - ORANGEVILLE, UTAH
Home Place is dedicated to the development of the whole person—body, mind and spirit, with emphasis on spirit. It offers a variety of small group retreats as well as a reading room.

CASA DE LAS COMMUNIDADES - ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.
Casa de las Comunidades offers hospitality to immigrant families in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is co-directed by Sister Teresa Aparicio-Cervantes and Covenant Associate Alan Bronder. Their primary ministry is of presence among families and individuals who often find themselves alienated and oppressed by dehumanizing systems and institutions. Material assistance is provided for families in need.

Congar Institute
for Ministry Development

We want to minister to the culturally diverse Catholic population of this country, proclaiming Jesus Christ through evangelization, education and/or Christian formation. We would like to offer a solid Catholic teaching and ministries that speak to the needs of the faith communities, empowering the Laity, dedicating our prayer and ministry to the proclamation of God's Kingdom.
That is why we have become part of a network of religious communities collaborating to assist home mission dioceses in their efforts to develop lay leadership and ministry. This is an initiative of the Home Missions Leadership Conference and the Congar Institute for Ministry Development.
