• Elimination of all weapons of mass destruction — nuclear, biological and chemical.
• Equality and justice for women and protection of children.
• Just and humane immigration policies.
• Ecological sustainability.
• Abolition of the death penalty.
• Resolution of conflict through diplomatic and peaceful negotiations.

Under each issue there are many concerns to be addressed, for example:

• Equality and justice for women and protection of children - trafficking and prostitution of women and children, domestic violence, equal pay for equal work, respect for life from conception to natural death, opportunity for education, etc.

• Just and humane immigration policies - human rights of refugees and immigrants, efforts for more just laws, illegal detention, etc.

• Ecological sustainability - global warming, pollution of land, air and water, cherishing the earth, etc.
